Welcome to Scent Index. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order. By using our website and purchasing from us, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. About Us

This website is operated by Scent Index. When we refer to “we”, “us”, or “our”, we mean Scent Index.

All content on this website, including text, images, logos and design, is the property of Scent Index and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written permission.

2. Your Order

By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy and Returns Policy.

All prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

3. Product Information

We aim to ensure all product descriptions, images and pricing are accurate. However, minor variations may occur.

Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings.

Fragrances are supplied as samples, decanted from genuine full-size bottles into unbranded atomisers. Original packaging is not included.

Scent Index is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any fragrance brand. All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely to identify the fragrance.

4. Order Acceptance

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where necessary, including in cases of:

• Product availability issues
• Payment authorisation failure
• Pricing or description errors
• Technical or system errors
• Security or validation concerns

An order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance. Your order is accepted once it has been dispatched.

5. Delivery

Delivery options and costs are shown at checkout.

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to factors outside our control, including courier networks and peak periods.

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next working day.

6. Cancellations

Orders are processed quickly, and we may not be able to cancel or amend an order before dispatch.

This does not affect your statutory right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods. Please refer to our Returns Policy for full details.

7. Faulty or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, leaking or not as described, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and, where possible, clear photographs of the issue.

8. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or products.

9. Use of Website

You agree not to misuse this website or attempt unauthorised access to our systems.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scent Index from any claims or losses arising from your breach of these Terms.

10. Legal Information

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any changes.
